About LastLanding

Building circular aviation
from Podkarpackie

LastLanding is Poland's first dedicated aircraft dismantling, disassembly, and recycling operation — born in Europe's Aviation Valley.

Founder

Kacper Konopka

Kacper founded LastLanding after identifying a critical gap in Central and Eastern Europe: no dedicated, professional aircraft end-of-life facility exists in the region. Retired aircraft are either abandoned, sold abroad for dismantling, or scrapped without systematic parts recovery.

With a background in R&D tax consulting (INOV Group) and technology commercialization, Kacper brings a unique perspective — combining regulatory expertise with engineering rigor. The approach is "scavenger first": find buyers for parts before acquiring aircraft, validated by industry mentors with 75+ aircraft dismantled.

Based in Podkarpackie — the heart of Poland's Aviation Valley, home to PZL Mielec, Pratt & Whitney Rzeszow, and dozens of aerospace companies — LastLanding is positioned where the supply chain already exists.

Vision

Where we're headed

Central and Eastern Europe has no dedicated aircraft end-of-life facility. Every retired aircraft in the region is either flown west for dismantling, sold to operators of last resort, or left to decay on airport aprons. We're changing that — starting with general aviation in Podkarpackie and scaling to commercial fleets.

Phase 1

2026

GA aircraft teardowns. Mobile operations. Parts consignment.

Phase 2

2027

Fixed facility. Material sorting. End-of-waste certification.

Phase 3

2028+

Commercial fleet capability. Part-145 certification. Full circular operation.
